Life and death is a topic that’s synonymous with each other. And it’s something that everyone will experience where the rate of experiencing it differs from one living thing to another.
Due to the differing rate, I wanted to create a piece where one is able to experience the cycle of life and death in their own space.
Hence the creation of esse- which stands for essential nature or essence. esse is a conceptual product that contains a random plant that one is able to purchase.
Where they are able to test their luck in either prolonging its life, or have it meet its end earlier than it should be. One can also participate in an online community of other esse plant owners throughout the duration of the event.
