8- Extra Additions

1) Rating Metre

Due to the lack of elaboration on the home page, I decided to add the Rating Metre section that pops-up when the user logs-in their daily emotion. After rating your emotions from a scale of 1-100, the app will give activities recommendation depending on the severity of the user's mood and by comparing it with past data.

In this case, the user feels more anxious than usual. Thus, the recommendation for Relaxation and Anxiety exercise or hotline call.

2) About

An extra addition is the About page for the application. Users now can read what the application is about and the aim and vision by pressing the about section located in the hamburger menu button.

3) Breathing Gif

The breathing exercise gif was created by one of our teammates- Rhyanne, and the gif serves as an example for the breathing exercise gif section in the meditation tab.

4) App Name Finalisation

Initially, the word yello! was merely to act as a placeholder for a future "better" app name. We came up with the word as a play on the word hello & yellow.

Hello = Befrienders telephone line logo and greeting towards the caller

Yellow = Happy colour + Digi brand's colour.

It's a weird type of greeting that's somehow always used when you answer the phone. I remember hearing the term in movies and such but didn't really realise that its a popular term. But over time, we kind of liked the name and seeing how it fits the communication aspect of our application, we decided to roll with it. And thus, yello! was born.
