9- Final!

1) Application

From the last feedback, we did some changes towards the body text font size. We changed it from 12pt to 16pt and enlarged the heart and + logo.

a) Sign-up Page

b) Homepage

c) Meditation

d) Hotline voice call interface

e) Hotline messaging interface

f) Journal entry

I decided to remove the initial journal homepage where the users were to choose whether they want to read the community posts or access their journal entries as it seemed counterintuitive and extra steps when they can just press the community tab from the menu below.

g) Community tab

2) Social Media Ads

We use Instagram as the social media platform since Instagram has a large teenager-young adult userbase. It's also convenient for the users to download the app as Instagram has the "swipe-up to download" feature.

3) Billboard

In terms of the billboard and posters location, we did additional research on which groups are more likely to commit suicide or face mental health disorders. The three main groups are those in a lower social class, unemployed people, and young adults.

Due to these 3 main groups, we updated the locations used and we decided to put said advertisements at small retail business such as small convenience stores and 24/7 convenience stores. We plan on putting it on said stores because its one of the few places that those 3 groups are more bound to visit.

We also put the billboards around public transport stations as these places have a high number of passerby's. This way, we can provide the hotline aspect of service to a larger target audience. We also provide the hotline phone-number as another means of emotional service support for those who are hesitant in downloading the app or doesn't have the means to do so.

4) A1 Posters

Similar to the billboard, the posters are located around train stations, pharmacies, convenience stores, information boards, and education premises (school, universities, colleges)

5) Brochure

As for the brochure, we plan on locating it around education premises, newspaper stands at convenience stores and pharmacies as these are also places where our target audience frequents.

Overall, I'm really happy as to how our project turned out, especially the application as we were all having quite a difficult time with some aspects of it. But through this project, I also learn to appreciate advertising teams as there's a lot of thought process that goes behind creating a suitable advertisement campaign. Its kinda tedious but, if that tediousness can help create something good, then I don't fully mind it cause it feels really nice to see that hard work pay-off.
