2. Documentation of Research
To gain the data needed in the development of my project, I did my research through the usage of articles, research papers, opinions through online forum & social media, and survey conduction.
Survey
For my survey questions, I divided it into 3 tiers. 1st tier asks general question such as age, gender, profession, religion, and income. This helps in grouping the respondents into the different viewpoints stated earlier. In terms of the income aspect, I included it to know which income group spends money on porn. Which leads me to my second tier, consumer’s consumption.
In this tier, I started by asking whether they consume pornographic content or not. Followed by frequency of consuming pornographic content, types of content preferred and a reason for choosing either type of content, how much money they’re willing to spend on pornography subscription a month, feel guilty for consuming pornographic content and reason for feeling guilty. By grouping the group into watches and does not watch porn, I can create comparison on how these two different group view sex-workers, which is the third tier.
Frequency:
The highest answer is once every few months, with
Finally, the third-tier touches on the respondents view on sex-workers. The questions asked include, the immorality of sex-work, personally know anyone who is a sex-worker and if answered yes, the reaction towards learning the info, and whether they support sex-workers or not. I made the mistake of providing the neutral option for these questions as most respondents generally answered neutral, which

1st tier

In this tier, I started by asking whether they consume pornographic content or not.
Followed by frequency of consuming pornographic content, types of content preferred and a reason for choosing either type of content, how much money they’re willing to spend on pornography subscription a month, feel guilty for consuming pornographic content and reason for feeling guilty.
By grouping the group into those that watch and does not watch porn, I can create comparison on how these two different group view sex-workers, which is the third tier.

Finally, the third-tier touches on the respondents view on sex-workers. The questions asked include, immorality of sex-work, personally know anyone who’s a sex-worker and if answered yes, the reaction towards learning the info, and whether they support sex-workers or not.
I made the mistake of providing the neutral option for these questions as most respondents generally answered neutral, which lead to a somewhat inconclusive survey.
3rd tier

From all the survey questions, the parts that I included in the final infographic were:
1st Tier: Age, Religion, Gender
2nd Tier: Porn Consumption % and frequency
3rd Tier: Views on sex-workers, support, both Do You Agree With questions, 4 would you questions, and 3 consider doing sex-work questions.
I chose said questions because it gives a broad outline on how the respondents view sex-work, and it shows the different answer in the respondents "morality" when asked about these hypothetical questions.
